What is occupational therapy?
Pediatric occupational therapy helps children develop the skills they need to grow, learn, and participate in daily activities. It focuses on motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, play, and emotional regulation to support independence and confidence at home, school, and in the community. Contact us with any specific questions regarding what OT can do for your child!
Do I need a referral?
Yes. Although some insurances do not require a referral to begin services, Elevate Pediatric Therapy does require all families, regardless of insurance to have a referral. Contact your child's pediatrician for a referral prior to your initial evaluation.
What if my insurance isn't listed?
We're continually expanding our insurance partnerships. If your insurance isn't currently listed, we offer private pay options. Contact us to discuss your specific situation and explore payment options.
How do I know if my concerns will be addressed in therapy?
We create individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique strengths, needs, and goals. During your initial consultation, we'll discuss your specific concerns and how occupational therapy can help address them. Treatment plans are comprised of standardized assessments, parent reports and clinical observation.
Does my child have to be a certain age?
No! Elevate Pediatric Therapy typically works with children ages 2-18. Contact us for more information about if OT is right for your child.
